Wedding Planning: Part 1

So we've decided on a date, the guest list is in Excel (still somewhat of a work in progress), the engagement party idea has been scrapped in favor of a more family/friend-friendly reception following the wedding and we've decided on a destination. Next step: location, location, location.

I'm on pins and needles as I anxiously await word from the desired resorts as to whether we can get the date we want. I keep refreshing my email inbox and checking my phone to make sure that they're in sync so I don't miss that all-important response from our current top-pick.

As the weather here gets worse and worse and we're blown from the blustery Fall into the frigid frost of Winter, my skin reacts by drying and itching and reminding me that last winter, I vowed to move someplace warmer. For the sake of my relationship with my fiance, I'm glad that I stuck around but I have that much more impetus to plan the best destination wedding ever to get us away from this awful and soon to be snowy city.
