Today, I am making gumbo and talking about the extraordinary Dr. Theodore Kenneth Lawless. There's no official recipe for the gumbo, but I do include suggestions throughout the video. Gumbo is one of those soul food favorites that is more about personal taste and preference. I stop seasoning when the ancestors whisper in my ear LOL.
